Our use of cookies
This website runs our own first-party analytics. It uses no advertising, social-media, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies, and loads no third-party content as it renders. The analytics measures how the site is used and keeps that data on our own infrastructure. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you also accept a persistent identifier for your browser — though the measurement itself runs whether or not you accept.
What we store
The site itself does not rely on cookies to work. Any strictly necessary storage set by our hosting or security infrastructure exists only to deliver the site safely, and is not used to identify you for marketing.
Our analytics is the only thing that sets cookies, and only if you accept them. We built it ourselves, and it sends data to our own collection endpoint rather than to a third-party analytics service. If you accept, two first-party cookies are set:

Whether or not you accept, the analytics uses temporary browser session storage — cleared automatically when you close the browser — under the keys __s_sid (a session identifier), __s_prid (the previous request), and __s_purl (the previous page URL). It also measures usage during your visit and sends that to us; for what is measured and sent, as opposed to stored in your browser, see the Privacy Policy.
How consent works
When you first arrive, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. The decision governs the persistent identifier, not the analytics itself.
Accept, and the two cookies above are set, letting us recognise your browser across visits in aggregate. Dismiss, and no cookies are set; the banner is hidden for now, and because nothing records that choice, it may reappear on a later visit. Either way, the first-party analytics continues to measure usage during your visit.
No third-party tracking
We embed no third-party advertising, no social-media pixels, and no marketing tags. Because the fonts and scripts the site uses are served from senken.co itself, your browser is never asked to contact external content networks to render a page. The analytics is our own rather than a third-party service: the data is collected through our own endpoint, is not shared with any third party for their own purposes, and is not used to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.
Managing what is stored
You can clear or block cookies and similar storage through your browser settings; clearing the cookies above removes the persistent identifier and brings the banner back. Browser settings and privacy extensions can also block the analytics script entirely. Blocking storage will not stop the site from working.
